In order to comply with the Maryland State Information Technology Security Policy and Standards,
login accounts are needed for remote access to Maryland Land Records. A user name and password is not necessary
to access Maryland Land Records from the public workstations at the Maryland County Circuit Courts or the Maryland State Archives.
We require Maryland Land Records accounts to include contact information to better communicate with users regarding the questions, suggestions,
and corrections that they report. We also use patron information to generate aggregate statistics regarding site usage that help us further improve the site.
